Can I add another authorized driver for my leased vehicle?

Yes. To add an additional driver for your vehicle, Mitsubishi will need your request in writing, along with several documents:
  • Additional driver information, i.e., full name, address, home and business phone numbers, and a copy of his/her valid driver's license.
  • A copy of your insurance policy. The additional driver(s) MUST be named as INSURED on the policy, and the vehicle must be listed. If this information is not included on the declaration page, the document is not acceptable.

Please note that this does not add the driver to the lease agreement or give them any rights under the lease agreement. This would require a Lease Assumption Agreement.
